Q: Will this power and control (move) p.o.e ptz cameras?
A: No
Q: can HDD be attached or plugged for video and audio recording?
A: Of course. I'm sure they're ratings for individual ports vs total throughput, but I've never experienced issues or a need to look them up.
Q: I plugged my tv into this and it keeps flashing "lan cable connected' and then 'lan cable disconnected' What is causing this?
A: I do not know never connected a switching hub to a TV or TV box. I think if your TV or cable box had a LAN port and y connect to the internet from a direct LAN cable then it should work if your needing more things near buy the switch hub to use the internet by cable. hope i can help also look up on the Tp website for a help person to chat with or email about your setup and the lights. Also try to see where u need to add a ip adress of the internet to connect to if it doesent auto connect on your tv internet setup .
Q: What port for router for the easy smart?
A: Any port would work, easier to distinguish if you use far right or far left port.
Q: If I connect two computers to this switch, what speeds will each connection run at? The full gigabit?
A: Yes, each device will connect to other devices on the switch at 1gb. If the switch is connected to your router, it will only be a 1gb connection to the router/internet. Each port is limited to 1gb.
Q: can this product be used between a security camera and NVR?
A: Yes it is an unmanaged switch and will work perfectly with your surveillance system.
