Wrong hard drive: Some buyers use SATA protocol M.2 NGFF hard disk to install, definitely not. It is important to note that Apple computers are not compatible with all NVMe M.2 hard disks, some hard disks Apple computers can not be used, such as Samsung PM981, Hynix's PC300, etc., there are too many hard disk models, I can't buy all of them one by one to test, it is recommended that buyers buy hard disk models verified by others.
Before replacing the hard disk, please make sure that your original hard disk is 10.14 or higher system version, if not, be sure to upgrade or install a higher version system with the original hard disk; if the original hard disk is damaged, you can borrow an original hard disk and follow the above instructions to operate again.
The partition format of the hard disk is not correct, it is not recognized when installing the system, and the GPT (GUID) partition format must be required. Be careful not to use any Windows system partitioning software to partition the hard disk or PE system to partition the hard disk, otherwise it will bring trouble to the future installation work! You can use LINUX software such as UBANTU installation disk to partition the hard disk.
Do not install the system from the network, and do not try to restore the system with your original backup, because the new and old versions of the Apple system disk format are different! Honestly download the Apple system, do a good job of the 10.14 version above the Apple system installation disk, install from the USB disk, this is the only way! To restore your original system data, we have an idea, because a buyer friend said this will work, but we have not actually operated, do not know the specific details, just for reference, we can not provide technical support! The method is as follows: you can use your original Apple system to make an installation disk, then make a backup, and then restore it after installing the system on the new hard disk with a USB disk.
Many buyers install the hard disk, boot the OPTION key can not see the hard disk, come to us and say not to recognize the disk, Apple machine is not an ordinary PC, do not use disk utility partition format hard disk before, you can not see the hard disk.
