FT-X Series ICs – Full Speed USB Peripheral Bridges
The new FT-X series of Full Speed USB device bridges offer more interface options with lower power, lower pin count and higher levels of integration.
The devices all include an integrated crystal and an internal Multi-Time-Programmable (MTP) Memory for configuring and storing the device descriptors. Taken together these features provide extra system functionality, thus reducing the system bill of material (BOM) and overall printed circuit board (PCB) real estate.In addition, a new Battery Charger detection feature is now included for use, enabling higher charging currents and shorter charging times
This USB2.0 Full Speed IC offers a compact bridge to basic UART interfaces. The device is a UART, capable of operating up to 3MBaud, with low power consumption (8mA). The FT230X includes the complete FT-X series feature set and enables USB to be added into a system design quickly and easily over a UART interface

Entire USB protocol handled on the chip. No USB specific firmware programming required.
Fully integrated 2048 byte EEPROM for storing device descriptors and CBUS I/O configuration.

All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
